In this role, you will lead the internal communications workstream, delivering the launch of the company's new identity, values and purpose while keeping employees informed and engaged throughout the transformation.

Working closely with senior leadership, HR and regional stakeholders, you will coordinate internal communications, employee engagement initiatives and change communications, while supporting day-to-day internal communications activities.

Interim Internal Communications Manager

Responsibilities: Interim Internal Communications Manager

Your responsibilities are to:

  • Lead the internal communications workstream for the corporate transition, delivering launch communications, leadership messaging, town halls, manager toolkits, FAQs and intranet content;
  • Establish and optimise the internal communications infrastructure, including channels, communication cadence and supporting tools across the organisation;
  • Develop and execute employee engagement campaigns that bring the new brand identity, values and purpose to life;
  • Coordinate change communications in close partnership with leadership, HR and regional stakeholders, ensuring consistent and timely messaging;
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Internal Communications Manager, balancing strategic initiatives with business-as-usual internal communications.

Requirements: Interim Internal Communications Manager

The Ideal Candidate has:

  • Extensive experience in internal communications, employee engagement and change communications within complex international organisations;
  • A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, confidential environment;
  • Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills, with experience working closely with senior leadership and HR;
  • Proven experience launching or embedding organisational brand, values and purpose through internal communications;
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage), with the flexibility to combine strategic thinking with operational execution.

Offer: Interim Internal Communications Manager

This is a temporary assignment until April 2027 for 40 hours per week, start date asap. We offer you a temporary contract via Independent Recruiters Flex with a salary around 10.000 euros gross per month based on 40 hours per week or an hourly rate of 140 euros for a ZZP-contract.
